Aparthotel Cala Azul Park - Cala d'or

Part of the Inturotel Group of hotels, the 3 star Aparthotel Cala Azul Park has an enviable location overlooking the sandy Cala Esmeralda beach in the popular resort of Cala d'or on the southern east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 900 metres from the picturesque Cala d'or marina and pedestrianised centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Built in 1987 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Aparthotel Cala Azul Park has a total of 245 guest rooms, including 227 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 18 studio flats, which are distributed between 7 three storey buildings, and set amidst almost 20,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the Aparthotel Cala Azul Park complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with 2 electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the Cala Esmeralda beach. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided 5 times a week with a change of towels 3 times each week and bed linen once a week.

Many of the guest facilities at the Aparthotel Cala Azul Park are also shared with the nearby Aparthotel Esmeralda Park and Aparthotel Cala Azul Garden, and includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, public internet terminals with complimentary WiFi access available in selected areas, a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the complex also offers a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat a maximum of 60 persons, which comes equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large free-form outdoor swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities shared between the Aparthotel Cala Azul Park, Aparthotel Esmeralda Park and Aparthotel Cala Azul Garden, includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium, sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as a mini-golf course and hard surface tennis court.

The Aparthotel Cala Azul Park also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, which includes regular rifle and pistol shooting, darts, water polo, petanque on the beach and weekly tennis and beach volleyball tournaments, as well as a programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
