Aparthotel Zafiro Bahía - Playa de Muro

Part of the prestigious Zafiro Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Aparthotel Zafiro Bahia has an enviable beach front location, in the popular resort of Playa de Muro on the north coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1993 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2017 the modern low rise Aparthotel Zafiro Bahia has a total of 289 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further selection of studio flats, all of which are distributed between 3 four storey buildings, and set amidst almost 4,300m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Alcudia.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, 5 apartments at the Aparthotel Zafiro Bahia have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen every 3 days.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange service, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, a supermarket, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Aparthotel Zafiro Bahia also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat a maximum of 90 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to sports enthusiasts, the Aparthotel Zafiro Bahia also offers the use of a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, along with a hard surface tennis court, a paddel court and 9 hole putting green.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel Zafiro Bahia also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

The Aparthotel Zafiro Bahia also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
