Bellevue Apartments - Alcudia

Part of the Blue Bay Group of hotels, the 3 key Bellevue Apartments and Resort is situated along the north coast of Majorca in the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia, approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport.

With grounds that front onto the shores of the Lago Menor, the complex is around 900 metres from the wide sandy resort beach and 1.5km from the harbour and Alcudia resort centre with its wide selection of restaurants, bars and nightlife.

Built in 1974 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern purpose built Bellevue Resort complex has a total of 1,474 guest rooms, including 943 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 531 studio flats, which are distributed between 17 buildings, and set amidst almost 150,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, making it the largest resort complex in Europe.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with fully equipped kitchenette with a 2 ring hob, refrigerator and microwave oven, a combined lounge/dining area with sofa beds, as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have either lake or mountain views.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with a large choice of air conditioned buffet and a la carte restaurants offering traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, a supermarket with bakery and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a choice of 8 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, each with their own separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a choice of 7 hard surface tennis and squash courts, a children's playground and mini club, along with a well equipped cardiovascular gymnasium, a mini golf course, go-karts and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Bellevue Resort also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring both team and pool games, as well as evening entertainment in the show garden with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
