have an enviable location overlooking a small sheltered bay in the quiet resort
of Cala Vinas on the south west coast of Majorca. The accommodation is
approximately 30km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International
airport, and a few steps from the centre of the resort, where you will find a
small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern low rise Globales Cala Vinas complex is a small development of 18 one bedroom self catering apartments, and a further 2 studio flats, which are built over 4 floors overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma. All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and cosmetic mirror, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, microwave oven, refrigerator and kettle, and a combined lounge/dining room with direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the sea. In addition to the above features, all rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
