Ferrerra Blanca Apartments - Cala d'or

Part of the Mar Group of hotels, the 4 key Ferrerra Blanca Apartments are situated around 100 metres from the Cala Ferrera beach in the popular resort of Cala d'or on the southern east coast of Majorca. The apartments are approximately 65km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 1.2km from the picturesque Cala d'or marina, where you will find a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Built in 1985 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2009, the modern low rise Ferrerra Blanca complex has a total of 183 guest rooms, including 43 one bedroom self catering apartments, 80 Suites and a further 60 Superior Twin Rooms, which are distributed between 9 three storey buildings and set amidst almost 30,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with hydro-massage shower and hairdryer, direct dial telephone, flat screen satellite television, refrigerator, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, apartments at the Ferrerra Blanca also feature an open plan kitchenette with 2 electric cooking rings, microwave oven and kettle, along with a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice each week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with complimentary WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of three large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with two further children's splash pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Ferrerra Blanca Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
