The 2 star Hotel Abelay is a small family hotel that is situated less than a 5 minute walk from the Plaza Espana, in a quiet residential area of the historic City of Palma de Mallorca. The hotel is approximately 3km north of the shopping and historical centre of the city and around 10km from the Son San Joan International Airport. Many of the Palma tourist attractions are only a 20 minute walk from the hotel and the small, sandy Cala Mayor beach is approximately 6km to the south west.

Extensively refurbished during the winter of 2009, the Hotel Abelay has a total of 55 guest rooms. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television and high speed WiFi internet access. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area, along with a breakfast room where guests can enjoy a selection of pastries, cereals, fruit and morning coffee.
