Hotel Aimia - Soller

The 4 star Hotel Aimia has an enviable location situated around 25 metres from the sea front promenade in the quiet resort of Port de Soller on the rugged west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 35km north west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the centre of the resort where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1974 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern family run Hotel Aimia has a total of has 43 guest rooms, including 8 standard double rooms, 30 deluxe rooms, 4 Superior and 1 Junior Suite, all of which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst almost 1,500m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer, cosmetic magnifying mirror, bathrobes and slippers, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, refrigerator, internet access, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, the Junior Suite, which is located on the top floor of the hotel, has a large terrace overlooking the magnificent bay of Port de Soller, along with a bathroom with separate shower and Jacuzzi, as well as an exquisitely decorated lounge area.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international dishes and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Aimia also offers the use of a large 55m2 conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat up to 50 guests, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment including telephones, fax, projectors and retractable screens.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Aimia also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium, Jacuzzi, cyclonic showers, sauna and Turkish baths, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments including, algae-based cleansing treatments, facial and capillary massage.
