Part of the J S Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Alcudi-Mar is situated around 100 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Playa de Muro on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1973 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern low rise Hotel Alcudi-Mar has a total of 210 guest rooms, including 186 standard twin rooms, 20 singles and a further 4 Junior Suites, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst almost 800m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 3 rooms at the Hotel Alcudi-Mar have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international dishes and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Alcudi-Mar also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section and Jacuzzi, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Alcudi-Mar also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

The Hotel Alcudi-Mar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
