Hotel Astoria Playa - Alcudia

The 4 star rated Hotel Astoria Playa is situated around 150 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia on the north coast of the island of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 1.5km from the centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1972 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2013, the modern Hotel Astoria Playa has a total of 166 guest rooms, offering a choice of both double and single rooms and a further 10 Junior Suites, all of which are built over 6 floors and set amidst almost 3,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either pool or garden views.

In addition to the above, Suites at the Hotel Astoria Playa also feature a bathroom with Jacuzzi, hydro-massage shower, bathrobes and slippers, and all guest rooms at the hotel are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services and luggage room for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, serving a wide variety of national and international dishes with weekly thematic Gala dinners elaborated with products from the island, as well as a lounge bar with satellite television and pool bar.

Sporting and leisure facilities available for guests include a choice of two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Astoria Playa also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
