Hotel Atolon - Cala Bona

The 3 star Hotel Atolon is situated on a small peninsula, almost midway between the beaches of Cala Bona and Cala Millor on the east coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 70km north east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, 200 metres from the picturesque harbour at Cala Bona and 700 metres from the centre of Cala Millor with its selection of shops, bars, restaurants and lively nightlife.

Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern low rise Hotel Atolon has a total of 77 guest rooms, including 70 standard twin rooms and a further 7 singles, which are distributed between two buildings, located either side of the traffic free promenade, and linked together by an underground marble passageway.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, mini-bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, a television lounge and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Atolon also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
