Part of the Catalonia Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Catalonia Majorica has an enviable location overlooking the sporting marina, in the residential Bonanova district of the historic City of Palma on the central south coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 4km west of the shopping and historical centre of the city and around 13km from the Son San Joan International Airport. Many of the Palma tourist attractions are only a 20 minute walk from the hotel and the small, sandy Cala Mayor beach is approximately 2km to the south west.

Extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern Hotel Catalonia Majorica has a total of 168 guest rooms, which are built over 6 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a ceiling fan, safety deposit box available for hire, direct dial telephone, satellite television with pay-per-view movies, mini bar, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with complimentary high speed WiFi internet access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and a lounge bar.

For business guests, the Majorica Center is connected to the hotel which features a conference centre with a variety of spaces for all kinds of events. The rooms are characterised by the fact that they are multipurpose rooms and have an abundance of natural light and have a capacity for up to 300 people.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Catalonia Majorica also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a further indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium.
