Aparthotel Coma Gran - Sa Coma

Part of the Hipotels Group of hotels, the 4 star Aparthotel Coma Gran is situated around 100 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Sa Coma on the central east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 65km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1988 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2003, the modern Aparthotel Coma Gran has a total of 209 guest rooms, including 192 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 17 studio flats, which are built over 7 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the Aparthotel Coma Gran are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator and microwave oven, as well as a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

The studio flats at the Aparthotel Coma Gran are located on the top floor of the complex and have two sofa beds in the lounge area, whereas the one bedroom apartments have a twin bedroom and sofa beds in the lounge area, and the two bedroom apartments have two twin bedrooms and additional sofa beds in the lounge area. In addition to the above features, all guest rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, a games room and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi sports activity pitch for football and volleyball etc, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel Coma Gran also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a further indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium and sauna.

The Aparthotel Coma Gran also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
