Hotel Condesa de la Bahia - Alcudia

Part of the Mar Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Condesa de la Bahia has an enviable beach front location in the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport and around 2km from the commercial centre of the resort with its selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1974 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2009, the modern low rise Hotel Condesa de la Bahia has a total of 496 guest rooms which are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 600m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Alcudia.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television, mini bar and either terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a number of superior rooms are also available of the first, second and third floors of the hotel which feature a bathroom with hairdryer, hydromassage bath or shower panel, and ADSL WiFi internet access, and all rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Condesa de la Bahia also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, with is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with a hard surface tennis court, a multi-sports activity area for football and volleyball, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Condesa de la Bahia also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
