The 3 star Hotel Dunas Blancas is situated around 50 metres from the beach in the lively resort of Playa de Palma on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 8km east of the capital Palma, 3km south east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1969 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the low rise Hotel Dunas Blancas has a total of 167 guest rooms, including 9 triple rooms, 136 doubles, 13 singles and a further 9 Family Suites, all of which are built over 5 floors around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, and a lounge bar with satellite television.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 2 small outdoor freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Dunas Blancas also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
