Hotel El Lago - Alcudia

Part of the Magic Group of Hotels, the 3 star Hotel El Lago is situated on the northern shore of the Lago Esperanza, in the popular resort of Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 800 metres from the centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and nightlife.

Built in 1987 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Hotel El Lago has a total of 110 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are distributed between 2 five storey buildings, and set amidst almost 1,500m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel can sleep a maximum of 4 people, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with two additional sofa-beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a terrace or balcony, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the lake. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground, a mini-golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel El Lago also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
