The 3 star Hotel Gran Bahia has an enviable sea front location, overlooking the beach in the popular resort of C'an Picafort on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1969 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the modern Hotel Gran Bahia has a total of 156 guest rooms, including 138 standard twin rooms and a further 18 singles, which are built over 8 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Alcudia. In a separate 3 storey annexe, which is situated adjacent to the main hotel building, guests are also offered a further 42 one bedroom self catering apartments.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, apartments at the Hotel Gran Bahia, although officially graded as "two keys", also have an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee machine and toaster, along with a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms at the hotel are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, small on site supermarket, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, and both pool and lounge bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Gran Bahia also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium, Jacuzzi and sauna.

The Hotel Gran Bahia also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
