The hotel is approximately 15km east of the capital Palma, 8km east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1971 and fully renovated during the winter of 2013, the low rise Hotel Hispania has a total of 165 guest rooms, including 139 twin rooms and a further 26 singles, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst 500m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic magnifying mirror, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the magnificent Bay of Palma.

In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the Hotel Hispania also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 50 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including CD, DVD and MP3 players, a projection screen, internet connections and a television.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with integrated children's splash pool and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols, along with a further rooftop terrace with Jacuzzi offering guests panoramic views over the resort.

Guests staying at the Hotel Hispania also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a Jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna, hydrotherapy showers and thermal beds along with a cardiovascular gymnaium overlooking the pool.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Hotel Hispania also offers the use of a specially adapted area for the storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

The Hotel Hispania also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
