Part of the Amic Group of hotels, the 2 star Hotel Horizonte is situated along the central south coast of Majorca, in the residential Bonanova district of the historic City of Palma. The hotel is approximately 4km west of the shopping and historical centre of the city and around 13km from the Son San Joan International Airport. Many of the Palma tourist attractions are only a 20 minute walk from the hotel and the small, sandy Cala Mayor beach is approximately 2km to the south west.

Built in 1963 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the Hotel Horizonte has a total of 199 guest rooms, including 181 twin rooms and a further 18 singles, which are built over 9 floors and set amidst almost 1,000m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a safety deposit box available for hire, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above features, a number of superior rooms are also available which are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and have a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and hairdryer. All guest rooms at the Hotel Horizonte are also provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Horizonte also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool and spacious sun terraces overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
