Hotel La Calma - C'an Pastilla

Part of the D Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel La Calma is situated around 100 metres from the sheltered Cala Estancia beach in the popular resort of C'an Pastilla on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 12km east of the capital Palma, 2km south of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 50 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1963, the Hotel La Calma has a total of 190 guest rooms, including 184 twin rooms and a further 6 singles, which are built over 5 floors around a small central pool area. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a small outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel La Calma also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium.
