The 4 star Hotel Mayurca is situated around 50 metres from the beach in the quiet resort of Canyamel on the north east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 65km north east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 7km to the south of the lively resort of Cala Ratjada where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Completely refurbished during the winter of 2007/8, the small family run Hotel Mayurca has a total of 25 guest rooms, offering a choice of both deluxe twin and single rooms and Suites, all of which are built over 3 floors overlooking a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the Hotel Mayurca are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an a buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as laundry and medical services, a games room, public internet terminals and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with Jacuzzi for adults, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Mayurca also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a cardiovascular gymnasium with sauna, as well as offering guests a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments including manicure, massages and pedicures.

The Hotel Mayurca also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment in the Polynesian Bar, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
