Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Melia Antillas Calvia Beach is situated in a slightly elevated position in one of the quieter areas of the otherwise lively resort of Magaluf on the south west coast of Majorca.

The hotel has direct access to the wide sandy resort beach and is approximately 25km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 800 metres from the Magaluf resort centre where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern Hotel Melia Antillas Calvia Beach has a total of 329 guest rooms, offering a selection of twin rooms, family rooms and Suites, all of which are built over 12 floors and set amidst almost 10,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box with internal charging socket available for rental, a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television with international channels, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a number of superior "The Level" rooms are available, offering guests a Nespresso coffee maker along with a mini Bluetooth portable speaker, Loewe bathroom amenities and both bathrobes and slippers, and of course all rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For guests staying in "The Level" rooms and Suites, a further express reception is also available along with access to "The Level Lounge" where guests will find a permanent coffee station with coffee, tea, herbal teas and water as well as cakes, canapés and nuts, and "The Level Restaurant" with international cuisine for both breakfast and dinner.

For business guests, the Hotel Melia Antillas Calvia Beach also offers the use of five large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 350 people, all of which are equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment including screens, overhead projectors and a microphone.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor lagoon style swimming pool, with separate children's section, offering direct access to the beach and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

For guests staying in "The Level" rooms and Suites, a further outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace is also available, offering panoramic views over the bay.

Guests staying at the Hotel Melia Antillas Calvia Beach also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Yhi Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a smaller heated indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, and fitness centre with cardiovascular gymnasium and sauna, as well as offering a variety of other beauty and massage treatments.

The Hotel Melia Antillas Calvia Beach also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring basic gym, pilates, tonic training, spinning, cardio box and aquagym, as well as a varied programme of evening entertainment, with live music, DJ's, acrobatics and other professional shows several times each week.

During the summer months, alongside the numerous adult activities, the resident Sol Animation team also provide themed children's clubs with the Baby Club suitable for 0 to 4 years and the Mini Club for 5 to 12 year olds. Guests are advised that some activities will carry a supplementary charge payable locally.
