Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Melia Palma Marina is situated along the central south coast of Majorca in the historic city of Palma de Mallorca.

With grounds that front onto the Paseo Marítimo, offering guests panoramic views of the Marina and the Cathedral, the hotel is approximately 1km west of the shopping and historical centre of the city and around 8km from the Son San Joan International Airport.

Many of the Palma tourist attractions are only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the small, sandy Cala Mayor beach is approximately 5km to the south west.

Built in 1974 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2016, the modern Hotel Melia Palma Marina has a total of 361 guest rooms, including 329 twin rooms, 24 singles and a further 8 Junior Suites, all of which are built over 8 floors and set amidst 1,900m2 of sun terraces overlooking the Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, a high speed internet connection, satellite and interactive television, a mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the bay.

In addition to the above features, a number of rooms have been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are also provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, the air conditioned à la carte El Laurel and Diana restaurants, a games room and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Melia Palma Marina also offers a fully staffed Business Center with eighteen conference and meeting rooms seating a maximum of 500 people, all of which are equipped the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment with flip-charts, writing materials, sweets etc all provided at no extra charge.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with a large furnished sun terrace overlooking the Bay of Palma.

Guests staying at the Hotel Melia Palma Marina also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Wellness Center which features an additional smaller heated indoor swimming-pool with fully equipped cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treaments in 7 treatment rooms and a further 6 massage rooms.
