Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 5 star Hotel Melia Victoria has an enviable location overlooking the Paseo Mar?imo and sporting marina of the historic City of Palma de Mallorca on the central south coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 500 metres to the west of the city centre and 12km from the Son Sant Joan International airport. Many of the main city centre tourist attractions are within walking distance of the hotel and the small, sandy Cala Mayor beach is approximately 4.5km to the south west.

Built in 1962 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern Hotel Melia Victoria has a total of 171 guest rooms including 144 standard twin rooms, 16 singles, 5 Junior Suites and a further 6 Suites, all of which are built over 6 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a safety deposit box available for rental that is large enough for a laptop, direct dial telephone, high speed ADSL internet connection, satellite and interactive television, Hi-Fi equipment including CD, radio and cassette player, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have panoramic views over the Bay of Palma. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi internet access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and poolside bars.

Guests staying at the Hotel Melia Victoria also have the choice of dining in a selection of air conditioned restaurants including the Restaurant Marivent, serving a generous breakfast buffet, the a la carte Restaurant Veritas, and finally the a la carte Restaurant La Terraza del Victoria, which is open during the summer months.

For business guests, the Hotel Melia Victoria also offers the use of eleven large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, including the huge Sala Magna with the capacity to seat up to 800 guests, all of which are equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Melia Victoria also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium and sauna, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.
