The 4 star Hotel Neptuno has an enviable front line location, overlooking the sea front promenade and wide sandy beach, in the Ses Cadenes district of the lively resort of Playa de Palma on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 8km east of the capital Palma, 3km south east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1959 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2000, the low rise Hotel Neptuno has a total of 114 guest rooms, including 98 standard twin rooms, 8 singles, 3 Suites and a further 5 Junior Suites, all of which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with two wash basins, shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, mini bar, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, both the Junior Suites and Suites at the Hotel Neptuno also have an integrated lounge area with sofa, as well as a bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, fresh towels twice a day and a complimentary daily newspaper and fresh fruit.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Neptuno also offers the use of a large conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 100 people auditorium style or 50 people workshop style, which has windows on three sides (one with views of the sea), as well as two cupolas in the roof to give it even more light. It also has ample curtains on both sides to provide the necessary privacy when required, and is furnished with every comfort and operational requirement.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the seafront promenade that are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Neptuno also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated pool, open during the cooler winter months, with cardiovascular gymnasium, Jacuzzi and sauna, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Hotel Neptuno also has a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

The Hotel Neptuno also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
