Part of the Pabisa Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Sofia is situated around 300 metres from the beach in the Ses Cadenes district of the lively resort of Playa de Palma on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 8km east of the capital Palma, 3km south east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1971, the Hotel Pabisa Sofia has a total of 328 guest rooms, which are built over 8 floors and set amidst almost 8,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area. All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, a beach volleyball court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Pabisa Sofia also have free entrance to the nearby "Dino Park" mini golf course, which offers a total of 54 holes distributed between three 18 hole courses.
