Part of the Esperanza Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Playa Esperanza has an enviable beach front location, in the popular resort of Playa de Muro on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the modern Hotel Playa Esperanza has a total of 332 guest rooms, including 275 twin rooms, 29 singles and a further 28 Suites, all of which are built over 7 floors and set amidst almost 60,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Alcudia.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, Suites at the Hotel Playa Esperanza also have a lounge area with two convertible sofa beds, and all guest rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Playa Esperanza also offers the use of 3 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat a maximum of 320 guests, all of which are all fully equipped a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, both of which are heated during the cooler winter months, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, as well as a hard surface tennis court and a multi sports activity area for football and volley ball etc.

Guests staying at the Hotel Playa Esperanza also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own 700m2 Spa and Wellness Centre, which features an additional indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Playa Esperanza also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
