The 1 star Hotel Playa Grande is situated around 50 metres from the beach in the lively resort of Playa de Palma on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 8km east of the capital Palma, 3km south east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1975 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the low rise Hotel Playa Grande has a total of 54 guest rooms, including 47 standard twin rooms and a further 7 singles, which are built over 5 floors. All guest rooms at the hotel are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and a lounge bar with satellite television.
