Hotel Pollentia - Puerto Pollensa

Part of the Hotelera Pollensina Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Pollentia has an enviable beach front location in the quiet residential Gonmar district of the popular resort of Puerto Pollensa on the north west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 1.5km from the centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1956 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the Hotel Pollentia has a total of 70 guest rooms, including 56 standard twin room and a further 14 singles, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst almost 500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking the magnificent Bay of Pollensa.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services and a comfortable lounge bar with satellite television.

Guests staying at the Hotel Pollentia are also welcome to use the sporting and leisure facilities at the neighbouring Hotel Uyal which includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities at the Hotel Uyal includes 2 hard surface tennis courts and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Pollentia also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows twice a week.
