Hotel President - Alcudia

Part of the H S M Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel President is situated around 15 metres from a small sandy beach, in the quiet residential Alcanada district of the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 65km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 2km from the harbour and commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1989 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2005/6, the modern Hotel President has a total of 242 guest rooms, including 239 double rooms and a further 3 singles, which are built over 6 floors, and set amidst almost 8,200m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, flat screen satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a terrace or balcony, many of which have exterior sea views over the magnificent Bay of Alcudia. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with a games room, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned restaurant serving a varied buffet of warm and cold dishes, selected desserts and homemade sweets, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a choice of 3 large freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with a further separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, as well as two hard surface tennis courts, a volleyball court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel President also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at their newly opened Spa and Wellness Centre, which features an additional heated indoor pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, water physiotherapy and feng shui area, as well as offering a wide variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel President also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
