Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada - Playa de Muro

Part of the Prinsotel Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada is situated around 200 metres from the beach in the popular resort of Playa de Muro on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1997, the modern low rise Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada has a total of 256 guest rooms, including 232 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 24 Suites, which are distributed between 4 four storey buildings, and set amidst almost 1,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with microwave oven and refrigerator, and a combined lounge/dining room with 2 additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 50 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a further indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium.

The Hotel Prinsotel La Dorada also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
