Part of the Universal Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Romantica is situated around 100 metres from the Playa d'es Cabot beach in the secluded resort of Colonia Sant Jordi on the south east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 40km south east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern Hotel Romantica has a total of 245 twin guest rooms, which are built over 6 floors, and set amidst almost 1,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel have a ceiling fan, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's pool and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and tennis court, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Romantica also provides a seasonal programme of daytime activities, including guided walking excursions from the hotel, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
