Hotel Said - Cala Millor

Part of the Hipotels Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Said is situated around 150 metres from the beach in the popular resort of Cala Millor on the central east coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 65km north east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 100 metres from the pedestrianised promenade and commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1967 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern Hotel Said has a total of 187 guest rooms, including 181 twin rooms and a further 6 singles, which are distributed between a 7 storey main building and a smaller 5 storey annexe block, both of which are then set amidst almost 3,000m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a safety deposit box available for rental, double-glazed windows and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with an integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Said also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, cardiovascular gymnasium, and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Hotel Said also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
