Hotel Sol de Alcudia - Alcudia

Part of the J S Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Sol de Alcudia is situated around 400 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport and 2km from the marina and commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1987 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern low rise Hotel Sol de Alcudia has a total of 219 guest rooms, including 179 standard twin rooms and a further 40 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 1,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Sol de Alcudia also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a Jacuzzi, sauna and power showers, as well as offering a variety of massaging treatments carried out by a highly qualified professional.

The Hotel Sol de Alcudia also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
