Part of the H S M Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel S'Olivera is situated around 350 metres from the Playa Palmira beach, in the popular resort of Paguera on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 35km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1966 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2000/2001, the low rise Hotel S'Olivera has a total of 161 guest rooms, including 151 twin rooms and a further 10 singles, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst 2,000m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channel, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi, open during the cooler winter months, as well as a children’s playground and mini club, a mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to walkers, the Hotel S'Olivera also has a specialist "Hikers Corner", where guests will find all types of information relevant to hiking around the island, including maps, cartographic details of routes, routes of interest, weather forecasts, books and magazines specialising in environmental issues and other related themes, along with an area specially set aside for cleaning and maintenance where hikers will find brushes and facilities to clean and dry boots as well as equipment deposits.

The Hotel S'Olivera also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
