The 2 star Hotel Sultan is situated around 50 metres from the beach in the popular resort of C'an Picafort
on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant
Joan International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find
a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern Hotel Sultan has a total of 84 guest rooms, including 70 standard twin rooms and a further 14 singles, which are built over 9 floors. All guest rooms at the hotel are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with public internet terminals, with WiFi access in selected area, a games room, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars. For business guests the Hotel Sultan also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 35 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
