The 1 star Hotel Teix is situated around 50 metres from the beach, in the lively resort of
Magaluf on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 20km west of the
capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the centre
of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.
Built in 1963, the low rise Hotel Teix has a total of 42 guest rooms, including 37 standard twin rooms and a further 5 singles, which are built over 3 floors overlooking a small central pool area. All guest rooms at the hotel are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a private "en suite" bathroom with shower along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and sun terrace area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, and luggage rooms for late departures, along with a restaurant serving a range of English meals, laundry and medical services, a games room and lounge bar with satellite television. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a small outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, and sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Please be aware that the Hotel Teix is a budget accommodation which during the summer months attracts groups of young singles looking for a lively holiday, and therefore at this time this hotel is not recommended for families travelling with young children.
