Hotel Uyal - Puerto Pollensa

Part of the Hotelera Pollensina Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Uyal has an enviable beach front location in the quiet residential Gonmar district of the popular resort of Puerto Pollensa on the north west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 1.5km from the centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1954 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2012, the traditional Hotel Uyal has a total of 116 guest rooms, including 90 standard twin rooms, 6 singles and a further 20 Suites, all of which are distributed between two 5 storey buildings, and set amidst spacious sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, high speed WiFi internet access, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the magnificent Bay of Pollensa.

In addition to the above features, the Suites at the Hotel Uyal also have a lounge area with minibar, and additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, a television lounge, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Uyal also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 50 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual aids including projector, flipchart and office equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include 2 hard surface tennis courts and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Hotel Uyal offers the use of a garage with bicycle rack, where you can keep your bike safe and secure overnight, which also includes and area for washing bikes and basic maintenance tools.

The Hotel Uyal also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
