The 3 star Aparthotel Luxor is situated around 200 metres from the sea front promenade and wide sandy beach, in the Las Maravillas district of the lively resort of Playa de Palma on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 8km east of the capital Palma, 3km south east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the low rise Aparthotel Luxor has a total of 92 guest rooms, including 40 self catering studio type apartments, and a further 52 twin rooms at the adjacent Hotel Luxor, all of which are built over 4 floors, and set amidst almost 2,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, apartments at the Aparthotel Luxor also have an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, and a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, and all guest rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange services and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens, which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include 3 hard surface tennis courts, along with a smaller indoor heated swimming pool at the nearby Hotel Boreal.
