Bouganvilla Apartments - Sa Coma

Part of the Globales Group of hotels, the 3 key Bouganvilla Apartments are situated around 1.5km from the beach, in a quiet residential area of the popular resort of Sa Coma on the central east coast of Majorca. The apartments are approximately 65km north east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a 20 minute walk from the centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1988 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2016, the modern low rise Bouganvilla complex has a total of 614 guest rooms, including 361 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 253 studio flats, which are built over 3 floors, and set amidst almost 46,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around one of the largest swimming pools on the island.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with microwave oven and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, the studio flats also benefit from air conditioning, and all guest rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, a supermarket, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate smaller children's splash pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi sports activity area for football, tennis and volleyball etc, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Bouganvilla Apartments also have the opportunity to experience the hotel's own water park featuring a variety of multi-slides, kamikaze, freefall, waveslide, aquatube, blackhole and toboggans slides.

The Bouganvilla Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment at the "Big Top" with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
