Hotel Albatros - Illetas

Part of the prestigious Barcelo Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Albatros has an enviable sea front location, overlooking a small private beach in the exclusive resort of Illetas on the south west coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 14km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1963 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2010, the modern Hotel Albatros has a total of 119 guest rooms, including 94 Superior twin rooms, 5 Junior Suites and a further 20 single rooms, which are built over 6 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, along with a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access and safety deposit box, a satellite television, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a number of rooms at the Hotel Albatros have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned à la carte restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi internet access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Albatros also offers the use of 3 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat a maximum of 200 people, all of which are fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Albatros also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

Please be aware that the Hotel Albatros is an "Adults Only" hotel and that all guests must be aged 18 or over at the time of arrival.
