Hotel Bonanza Park - Illetas

Part of the prestigious Riu Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Bonanza Park is situated around 800 metres from the beach in the exclusive resort of Illetas on the south west coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 14km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 500 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1962 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern low rise Hotel Bonanza Park has a total of 138 guest rooms, including 124 standard twin rooms and a further 14 Junior Suites, which are distributed between a 5 storey main building and a number of other low rise villas, all of which are set amidst almost 8,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, Junior Suites at the hotel also have a lounge area with additional sofa beds, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned à la carte restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the nearby Hotel Riu Bonanza Playa also offers the use of 6 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, all of which are fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a children's mini club, as well as a mini golf course, 2 floodlit hard surface tennis courts and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Riu Bonanza Park also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the Spa and Wellness Centre at the nearby Hotel Riu Bonanza Playa, which features a 48m2 indoor heated swimming pool with hydromassage, along with a sauna, cardiovascular gymnasium, Turkish bath, bio-sauna and bithermic showers, as well as offering guests a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Riu Bonanza Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring pistol shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
