Part of the prestigious Riu Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Riu Bonanza Playa has an enviable sea front
location overlooking a small private beach in the exclusive resort of Illetas on the south west coast of
Majorca.
The hotel is approximately 14km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 500 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1973 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern Hotel Riu Bonanza Playa has a total of 285 guest rooms, including 269 twin rooms, 9 Junior Suites and a further 7 Presidential Suites, all of which are built over 9 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.
