The 3 star Hotel Cala Ferrera is situated around 20 metres from the beach in the quiet Cala Ferrera district of the popular resort of Cala d'or on the southern east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 500 metres from the centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern Hotel Cala Ferrera has a total of 160 guest rooms, including 135 double rooms, 20 singles and a further 5 Suites, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst 1,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area overlooking the cove of Cala Ferrera.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and Cala Ferrera beach. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with furnished sun terraces and gardens that lead down to the Cala Ferrera beach.

The Hotel Cala Ferrera also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
