Hotel Concord - C'an Picafort

Part of the Ferrer Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Concord has a enviable beach front location, in the quiet residential Son Baulo district of the popular resort of C'an Picafort on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 1km east of the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern low rise Hotel Concord has a total of 148 guest rooms, including 140 standard twin rooms and a further 8 singles, which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst almost 200m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Alcudia.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Concord also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces overlooking the beach, which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Concord also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health Centre, which features a cardiovascular gymnasium with Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. This facility is then supplemented with the facilities of the nearby Vital Spa, located at the Hotel Ferrer Janeiro, which includes thermal circuits as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Concord also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
