Hotel Delfin Azul - Alcudia

Part of the B Q Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Delfin Azul is situated around 200 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the resort centre with its selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1975 and completely refurbished during the winter of 2015 to include the installation of air conditioning in all public areas, the modern Hotel Delfin Azul has a total of 270 guest rooms, including 243 standard twin rooms and a further 27 singles, which are built over 6 floors and set amidst almost 1,700m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television, mini bar available on request and either terrace or balcony, most of which have pool and garden views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage room for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international dishes and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Delfin Azul also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring pistol shooting, pool games and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
