Hotel Gran Playa - C'an Picafort

Part of the T H B Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Gran Playa is situated around 50 metres from the beach in the popular resort of C'an Picafort on the north coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1964 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern low rise Hotel Gran Playa has a total of 177 guest rooms, including 155 standard twin rooms and a further 22 singles, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a satellite television with international channels, a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 3 rooms at the Hotel Gran Playa have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering guests a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals with complimentary WiFi access available in selected areas, and both pool and lounge bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Gran Playa also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 25 people, which is equipped with a selection of the modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include the "Poker" beer garden and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Gran Playa also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own mini Spa and Wellness Centre which features, a cardiovascular gymnasium with Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Hotel Gran Playa also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
