Hotel Hipocampo Palace - Cala Millor

Part of the Hipotels Group of hotels, the 5 star Hotel Hipocampo Palace (formerly known as the Hotel Hipocampo Park), is situated around 150 metres from the beach in the popular resort of Cala Millor on the central east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 65km north east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 250 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1997, the modern low rise Hotel Hipocampo Palace has a total of 203 guest rooms, including 111 Suites, 2 Senior Suites and a further 90 double rooms, which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst almost 19,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area..

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and bathrobes, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini-bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a terrace or balcony, many of which have exterior views over the garden and pool area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Hipocampo Palace also offers the use of three large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, all of which are equipped with ergonomic furniture and a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with a separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground, along with 6 clay surface tennis courts, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Hipocampo Palace also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
