Hotel Java - C'an Pastilla

Part of the B G Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Java is situated around 80 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of C'an Pastilla on the central southern coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 12km east of the capital Palma, 3km south east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 300 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1969 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2013, the Hotel Java has a total of 249 guest rooms, including 224 standard twin rooms and a further 25 singles, which are built over 9 floors and set amidst almost 1,000m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, a high speed WiFi internet connection, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the magnificent Bay of Palma. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Java also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Java also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and cardiovascular gymnasium.

Of special interest to cyclists the Hotel Java has a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

The Hotel Java also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
