The 3 star Hotel Kontiki Playa has an enviable front line location overlooking the sea front promenade and wide sandy beach, in the Las Maravillas district of the lively resort of Playa de Palma on the central southern coast of Majorca. Built in 1971 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2002, the modern Hotel Kontiki Playa has a total of 273 guest rooms, including 220 twin rooms, 8 singles and a further 45 one bedroom self catering apartments, all of which are built over 6 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.
