Hotel Mar de Portals - Portals Nous

The 4 star rated Hotel Mar de Portals is situated around 150 metres from the beach, in the quiet resort of Portals Nous on the south west coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 10km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the centre of the resort, where you will find a selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Extensively refurbished during the winter of 2016, the modern low rise Hotel Mar de Portals has a total of 119 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin rooms and Junior Suites, which are built over 4 floors, and set amidst spacious sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, all rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the Hotel Mar de Portals also offers the use of a large 130m2 conference and meeting room, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio and visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
